Winston the Labrador puppy has completed his 2 weeks residential training holiday
His owners needed support with his training as he had started chasing and biting their 4 kids, wouldn’t come back when called, pulled on the lead, stole food off the dining table and toileted inside the house. He also lacked confidence with human contact, and would shy away from touch and found it difficult to try new things during training.
Over the last 2 weeks, Winston has learnt to be calmer around children, to settle in his bed on cue, to play tug with the kids without jumping or biting, to walk nicely on the lead and to come when called. The 2 weeks have been a great confidence boost for him, and he is now much more confident with being touched and learning new training exercises
He is a delightful, sensitive puppy who enjoys training and loves playing. We’ve enjoyed having him here for training and will now spend time training his family so they can keep up his training
